SNUG 2026 Conference FAQs

What registration options are available?

SNUG 2026 registration options include Full Registration, Better Together Combo Registration, and One-Day Registration. Full Registration includes Monday through Thursday. One-Day Registration is available for Tuesday only or Wednesday only. Better Together Combo Registration includes the SNUG Conference plus the PowerSchool Pre-Conference.

What is included with regular SNUG Conference registration?

Regular SNUG Conference registration includes general sessions, breakout sessions, meals, and conference events for the registration period selected. Full Registration includes the full conference week. One-Day Registration includes the sessions, meals, and events for the selected day.

What is the Better Together Combo registration?

The Better Together Combo registration is a way to extend your SNUG conference experience by adding a full day of PowerSchool instruction on Monday of conference week. Attendees choose either the BusinessPlus track or the eFinancePlus track.

Is the combo registration all-inclusive?

Yes. The combo registration includes everything in the SNUG Full Registration, plus a full day of BusinessPlus or eFinancePlus instruction provided by PowerSchool on Monday, October 12, 2026.

Can I pay by purchase order?

Yes. Please email your purchase order to aoverman@sharedresourcecenter.org within 10 days of completing your conference registration.

Why do I need to use a unique email address?

Each attendee must register with a unique email address in order to access the event in Sched. Using the same email address for multiple attendees may cause schedule access or processing delays.

What PowerSchool Pre-Conference sessions are available?

The PowerSchool Pre-Conference offers two full-day tracks: BusinessPlus and eFinancePlus. Each track includes a morning session and an afternoon session on Monday, October 12, 2026.

BusinessPlus sessions include Python Conversion for BP CDD Reports and C# Conversion Strategies for BP Workflow & Business Rules.

eFinancePlus sessions include Personnel Budgeting & Position Control and Talent Suite Integrations with PS ERP/eFinancePlus.

Do I choose BusinessPlus or eFinancePlus?

Yes. You should choose the track that matches the ERP system your district uses.

What happens if a Pre-Conference session does not meet the minimum number of registrations?

If either the BusinessPlus or eFinancePlus Pre-Conference session has fewer than 5 registrants by September 13, 2026, that session will be canceled. Registered attendees will receive a full refund of the PowerSchool Pre-Conference portion of the registration price, which is $600 for members and $700 for non-members.

Cancellation of a Pre-Conference session does not cancel the SNUG National Conference registration, and the regular refund and substitution policy still applies to the SNUG National Conference.

Where is the conference hotel?

The SNUG 2026 National Conference will be held at The Westin Peachtree Plaza in Atlanta, Georgia.

What is the SNUG hotel rate?

SNUG room rates start at $229 per night, plus applicable taxes and fees.

When is the hotel group-rate deadline?

Reserve by September 20, 2026, to secure the SNUG group room rate, based on availability.

Where can I view the conference schedule?

An agenda overview is available on the National Conference page. The full schedule is available in Sched at snug2026.sched.com.

Are presenter discounts available?

Yes. Presenters who lead two or more sessions receive free conference registration. Presenters who lead one session receive a discounted conference registration rate of $400.

Is there a justification letter I can use?

Yes. You can customize a justification letter at snugk12.org/justification, then copy it into an email or download it as a PDF.

What is the refund and substitution policy?

For a full refund of Pre-Conference and/or SNUG National Conference registration costs, written notice of cancellation must be received by August 14, 2026.

A 50% refund of Pre-Conference and/or SNUG National Conference registration costs will be granted with written notice of cancellation received by September 13, 2026.

No refunds will be issued after September 13, 2026. Refunds will also not be given for failure to attend, late arrival, unattended events, or early departure for any reason.

Can I substitute another attendee?

Yes. Substitutions will be honored for those wishing to replace another individual from their organization. Please email substitution requests to aoverman@sharedresourcecenter.org.

Are the SNUG Conference and PowerSchool Pre-Conference separate registrations?

Yes. Although the SNUG National Conference and PowerSchool Pre-Conference are purchased together as a combo registration, they are separate registrations. Canceling attendance at one event does not automatically cancel attendance at the other.
