SNUG K-12 Conference Code of Conduct

The SNUG K-12 Organization is designed to serve as a resource for users of enterprise K-12 software. As part of this mission, SNUG K-12 partners with K-12 software providers to provide an optimal conference experience. All attendees, Board members, exhibitors, sponsors, and presenters are expected to adhere to the SNUG K-12 Code of Conduct while participating in the national conference.

I. Personal and Professional Integrity

All attendees, Board members, members, exhibitors, sponsors, or presenters are to act with honesty and integrity in all of their dealings within the organization. The organization promotes an environment that values respect, fairness, and integrity. Subject to applicable law, all attendees, Board members, exhibitors, sponsors, and presenters hereby agree to refrain from publicly disparaging, calling into disrepute, defaming, or slandering any individual or entity associated with the SNUG conference.

II. Stewardship

SNUG K-12 values responsible stewardship on behalf of the members and all individuals acting on behalf of the organization. Board members are to exercise due diligence as a matter of necessity with regards to finances and planning. Members are expected to exercise responsible stewardship with regards to proprietary information provided by K-12 software providers and other shared information, physical property while on organizational business, and intellectual property shared by other members or exhibitors.

III. Information

Attendees, Board members, exhibitors, sponsors, or presenters are prohibited from knowingly sharing false information or making false claims regarding partnership relationships with K-12 software providers that do not exist.

IV. To Report an Incident

If you are involved in or witness an incident that violates this code of conduct, please let a SNUG Board member know as soon as possible. Infractions of the code will be handled confidentially.
