2021 Pre-Conference Sessions

  • Join the PowerSchool Services team and learn more about your writing, managing and updating your calculation codes in Businessplus. This course will enable you to be able to better understand how you calc codes work and let you make more efficient assessments on how your payroll calculations are processing. This session is recommended for both functional and technical users of the system.
  • This session will cover BusinessPlus payroll contract reconciliation processes. The PowerSchool Services team will take your team through best practices in reconciling all types of payroll contracts and strategies to make sure you are always in balance. This session is recommended for all human capital professionals.
  • In this session, the PowerSchool Services team will walk users through all of the strategies used internally to refresh BusinessPlus databases. You will get the opportunity to peek behind the curtain at how we handle these procedures. This course is recommended for technical resources and systems analysts.
  • This session will cover how to best handle General Ledger Posting Preferences and Subsystem interfaces. The PowerSchool Services team will take you through a deep dive on how to set up, manage and adjust your posting strategies. Additionally, the team will be sharing the best practices on how we set up different structures for different customers. This session is recommended for system analysts, and functional accounting professionals.
  • Learn more about how to harness the full power of the Store Inventory (warehouse) module, and how to best integrate it into your core financial processes and procedures. The PowerSchool Services team will walk through the best practices and recommended protocol. This session is recommended for warehouse leaders, procurement professionals and financial leaders.
  • In this session, PowerSchool Professional Services will take your accounting and budgeting staff through all of the best strategies and best practices on how to use all of the fund accounting modules in eFinancePlus. This session is designed for financial professionals at all levels to level-up their skills within the system.
  • This session will cover everything related to budgets in eFinancePlus. This includes the main budget module, personnel budgeting, project allocations, and more. This session is recommended for anyone looking to enhance their budgeting processes for eFinancePlus. This session is recommend for system analysts and budgeting professionals.

Get the most out of the conference by adding Monday Workshops!

Attend one of our half day sessions for only $300 each!  Times for the sessions will run 8:30 a.m.- 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.  Check-in for the pre-conference sessions will begin at 7:30 a.m. Breakfast will be provided from 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

Please be aware of the following: 

1. If you would like to register for more than one session, you will need to register for each session separately to reserve your seat.

2. A Purchase Order or credit card payment is required to confirm your attendance.

3. Please email your purchase order to Wes Durham, wes.durham@powerschool.com. POs for the pre-conference sessions should be made out to PowerSchool Group LLC, 150 Parkshore Dr., Folsom, CA 95630.

4. If you would like to pay by credit card, please stand byPlease note that you must register for your session prior to making payment. 

Cancellation Policy:  You will need to notify PowerSchool at least 10 days prior to event if you are unable to attend your registered session.  Otherwise your district will be invoiced for the session.  Also, cancellation of registration for the Conference itself does not cancel your registration for the Pre-Conference sessions.  Please email wes.durham@powerschool.com with any cancellation notifications or questions.

Registration for a Pre-Conference session does not register you for the conference itself.
