The Board is in action! The Board are all working very hard today at the San Francisco Palace Hotel to make your experience as meaningful as possible.
It is the 25th Anniversary of our User Group, which is something to celebrate. It is especially significant to me because I graduated high school in 1985 and it occurred to me that the longevity of this group is certainly something to be in awe of. And what a great group you all are!
There will be some bittersweet goodbyes! Being part of a research organization (Sanford-Burnham), I will miss everyone I have met from the K-12 group. Seeing the "Bee" printed on all of the conference materials over these past years brings back some fond memories.
We plan to keep those of you who can't make it to the conference more informed by posting blogs, pictures and useful information throughout the week.
For those of you on their way here this week, we welcome you and encourage you to take advantage of:
- SunGard Classes (they welcome registrants on the day of arrival on Wednesday)
- User Presentations (the insights into different returns on your already invested dollars far outweighs the cost of time and funds to attend a conference)
- One-on-One SunGard Time (Grab-A-Tech)
- And the most precious benefit of all, getting to know other users at the networking events, during the Birds of a Feather meetings, and during the roundtable sessions
Our fearless leader, Carol Fritsch, President
We look forward to seeing you soon!
